Rich Scagliotta And Mike Bowman Are This Weeks NAPA Know How Performers Of The Week

Two seasons ago Bound Brook, New Jersey resident Rich Scagliotta decided he wanted a challenge to race the best Big Block Modified drivers in the business so he chose Brewerton Speedway as his weekly stop. After a lot trials and tribulations all his effort paid off Friday night June 17th as he picked up his first ever Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modified win.

Scagliotta played the waiting game using the bottom of the speedway and waiting for his car to come to him in the late stages of the 35 lap feature. On the last lap Scagliotta saw his opportunity when race long leader Chuck Bower slipped up the speedway in turns three and four, letting Scagliotta to shoot by for the win.

After years of coming close and frustrations of having shots at a win only to have something happen late in the going,  Mike Bowman and his team finally picked up their first ever Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modified win Saturday night at the Fulton Speedway. The win didn’t come as easy as he had to battle not only constant pressure from Larry Wight but also trying to put cars a lap down. In the end Bowman didn’t lose his rhythm, kept hitting marks to take the popular win.

For their performances both Scagliotta and Bowman will receive $100 “NAPA Know How Performer of The Week” that is awarded weekly at both Brewerton and Fulton Speedways to one driver that outperforms all others that week across all classes.

The new NAPA Outlaw Speedway Discount Cards are available and are being distributed to active drivers at each speedway. New competitors should see Tara at payoff to acquire theirs... Only drivers that have submitted a Driver Information Sheet with track management are eligible for the card that will provide discounted pricing on most racing related purchases throughout the 2011 race season.

In addition to the discount on purchases, 3% of every dollar spent using the NAPA Racer Discount Card will be returned to Brewerton and Fulton competitors as a NAPA point fund award at the end of the 2011 campaign.
