Great Northern Mall Car Show returns March 23 – 25

BALDWINSVILLE, NY January 19, 2012 (By Dave Medler) – The Great Northern Mall in Clay will be the setting for The Brewerton and Fulton Speedway ‘Blast Off’ car show on March 23-25. It will be the second year in a row the mall has hosted a Car Show. The popular event returned in 2011 after a several year hiatus.

For race teams, the show is a great chance to promote sponsors and display their colors before the action gets heavy at the track. It will be a fun family event all weekend with ticket giveaways and specials and a live radio remote with prize giveaways. The Great Northern Mall is conveniently located on Route 31 in Clay, NY and easily accessible right off Route 481.

“The show last year really propelled us into a great 2011 season at both tracks,” said track Marketing Director Cory Reed. “The amount of race fans that turned out over the weekend was great and the mall staff could not have been more accommodating. We are excited to do it all over again this year.”   

The show is open to any dirt race car and is not restricted to Brewerton and Fulton competitors. There is no charge to display a car but space is limited and is made available on a first-come, first-served basis.
