SYRACUSE, NY March 2, 2012 (By Dave Medler) – Come have a fun night out with the Syracuse Crunch as they take on the Albany Devils Friday, March 9th at the Onondaga County War Memorial on Brewerton and Fulton Speedway night. It’ll be an entertaining evening of Professional Hockey the night before the Motorsports Expo kicks off. The puck will drop at 7:30. Sprint car star Jessica Zemken will also be on hand to meet fans.
Look for the Crunch Girls when you enter the arena who will be handing two-for-one adult tickets for 2012 events at Fulton Speedway. Track representatives will be on hand selling six-pack tickets to both speedways and there will be a variety of ticket giveaways pre-game and between periods. The 2012 track schedules will be available for all fans to take home, as well.
Fulton Speedway will start its 2012 season with an open practice on April 7, then get the green on Saturday, April 14th at 4pm with the A-Verdi Storage Containers Methanol Meltdown featuring the Patriot Sprint Tour. The SUNY Canton Sportsman and NAPA Late Models will also be on the card with each feature earning the winner a guaranteed starting spot in the 2012 Outlaw Weekend championship events for each class.
An open practice on Tuesday, April 17th will prelude the much anticipated April 20 season-opener at Brewerton.
