Outlaw 200 Spot For Modifieds Up For Grabs This Saturday July 28 At The Fulton Speedway

FULTON, NY - July 23, 2012 (By Dave Medler) -  Parts Plus, the sponsor of the Four Cylinder Stocks presents a family fun filled night of racing this Saturday night, July 28th at the Fulton Speedway.

On the race card will be the Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds, SUNY Canton Sportsman, NAPA Late Models, E&V Energy Novice Sportsman, Parts Plus Four Cylinder Stocks and TUSA Mod Lites. The drivers will also have a long ball golf challenge.

McDonalds will aslo be on hand in the midway with their "Family Fun Zone".

A lot will be on the line for the Modifieds, as a coveted guaranteed starting spot for the  $20,000-to-win Sunoco Fulton Ethanol Facility Outlaw 200 by SUNY Canton, on Saturday, September 29th will be up for grabs this week.

After a rough start to the season, defending SUNY Canton Sportsman Track Champion, Jeremy Pitcher is hitting his stride as of late. After last Saturday's win, his fourth, Pitcher is now only 29 behind points leader Jordan Bennett.  With only six points paying races left this could come down to the final night. Jim Spano, Tom Juhl and Beth Schneider are still knocking on the door in the top-five in the points.

What a finish the NAPA Late Models put on last Saturday. In a two lap dash to the checkers, Tim Sears Jr. and Alan Fink, banged fenders and traded paint that came down to a drag race to the finish out of turn four, with Fink declared the winner by a mere 0.110 of a second.

Corey Barker continued the winning tradition for his family, as he won the E&V Energy Novice Sportsman feature. The top-five in points are, Kyle Fink, Gary Hoppins, Brandon Ford, Dan Keyes and Corey Barker.

Mark Johnston picked up his second win of the year last Saturday in the Parts Plus Four Cylinder Stocks. He now only trails point leader Skip DeGroff by six in the season long battle for the track title.

Gates will open this Saturday July 28, at 5:00 with racing starting at 7:00. Adult grandstand admission will be $12 with everyone 18 years old and younger admitted FREE to the grandstands.
