FULTON, NY – June 11, 2014 (By Dave Medler) – Surprise dad this Father’s Day weekend by taking him to a night of fast, affordable, family fun racing  at the Fulton Speedway on K-Rock Night.

On the exciting race card will be the Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modifieds/SUNY Canton Sportsman/NAPA Late Models/E&V Energy Novice Sportsman/A-Verdi Storage Containers 305 Sprints/Hilton’s Automotive Four Cylinders and the Midstate Vintage Stock Car Club.

Last Saturday night in the Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modifieds Matt Fink saw his decision to return weekly to the Fulton Speedway payoff as he grabbed the big feature win, the second of his career at the Route 57 speedway.

Coming into this Saturday here is the top-five in the Big Block Modified point standings. Larry Wight (248) – Rob Bellinger (240) – Jimmy Phelps (238) – Pat Ward (216) – Ryan Phelps (210).

In the SUNY Canton Sportsman over forty drivers have competed on the “High Banks,” in 2014. Last Saturday Rocco Leone picked up narrow victory over Tony Finch III. Rocco dedicated his win to his dad as an early Father’s Day present.

“Domination,” that is the only word to describe Alan Fink’s drive last Saturday in the NAPA Late Model feature and his win over Tim Sears Jr. and the rest of the field.

Tim Sears Jr. leads the way in the points standings (288) followed by AJ Kingsley (264) – Rick Miller (256) – Brandon Ford (224) – Scott Ford (194).

Not having any driving experience at all in racing, Brenton Joy grabbed his first ever feature win in the E&V Energy Novice Sportsman. Joy could of got rattled and made a mistake but didn’t as he held off late race pressure from Shannon Pitcher to land in victory lane.

Trevor Lindsey has used consistent finishes to lead the points. Trevor Lindsey (262) – Brenton Joy (250) – Joe Buonagurio (230) – Brett Draper (226) – Dorian Wahdon (192).

After a week off the A-Verdi Storage Container 305 Sprints return this week. John Cunningham (232) – Gordy Button (172) – John Thayer (152) – Doug Crews (104) – Kelly Hebing (60).
