BALDWINSVILLE, NY – July 28, 2014 – John, Laura, Larry Wight and the entire Brewerton and Fulton Speedways family are sad at the passing of Gypsum Racing driver Pat Ward’s father Bud.

Bud Ward was a staple around Central New York tracks from his racing days behind the wheel of his famous Modified ‘The Flying 42’. Bud would pass down his love for racing to his son Pat Ward.

After his driving days Bud and Pat’s mom Peg would be seen at all of Pat’s races with Bud helping in the pits and Peg cheering pat on.

Bud’s smile, presence and handshake to all those who came in contact with him will surely be missed. He wouldn’t want us to be sad at this time but to share the great racing stories of his driving career and how proud he was of Pat and his continued popularity.

When arrangements  are  made to celebrate his life we will let everyone know on our websites www.brewertonspeedway.comwww.fultonspeedway.com and our Facebook pages www.facebok.com/BrewertonSpeedwaywww.fultonspeedway.com/FultonSpeedway .
