Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Returns as Brewerton and Fulton Speedways Major Marketing Partner
BALDWINSVILLE, NY – (March 1, 2022) – Management of the Brewerton Speedway and Fulton Speedway are happy to announce that Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux located just minutes north of the Brewerton Speedway on Route 11 will return for another season as a major marketing partner of a multi-faceted program.
The familiar Billy Whittaker Cars and Trux pace car will again pace the field at each track throughout the year with long-time pace car driver Ron DeYulio behind the wheel. Billy Whittaker cars & Trux will be the divisional sponsor of the new Hobby Stock class that will race weekly at Fulton Speedway in addition to a pair of events at Brewerton Speedway. Whittaker’s also assumes title sponsorship of a trio of popular events at the Fulton and Brewerton Speedways: June 24th Demo Derby and racing program at Brewerton, the July 30th H2No Boat race and racing event at Fulton, and the traditional 29th annual Hurricane Harvey on October 5.

Look for our display at the 34th Annual Motorsports Expo & Trade Show on Saturday & Sunday, March 12-13 at the New York State Fairgrounds. We will have 2022 schedule cards, rules, licenses, season passes, plus new cars that will do battle weekly on the Brewerton ‘D-Shaped Dirt Demon,’ and the Fulton ‘Highbanks’. Just two-weeks later it will be time for ‘March Meltdown’ party on Saturday, March 26th at RFH’s Hideaway, located just minutes south of the Fulton Speedway on Route 57. Festivities will begin at 7:30 pm.
Speedway officials will be on hand to discuss the 2022 season, schedules and season information will be available, while the Super DIRTcar Series from Atomic Speedway will be aired on the big screens. Point funds and awards will be handed out from the 2021 racing season. Dress for the event is casual and free to attend. Racers, race teams and fans are all invited for a night of fun, catching up with friends you have not seen since the end of the 2021 season.
Fulton Speedway will open for the season on Saturday, April 23 with open practice from 2-4 pm, followed by the rescheduled $2000-to-win Rocket Racing Setups Enduro 200. Then on Friday and Saturday, April 29-30, the Speedway will host the Highbank Holdup Weekend featuring the DIRTcar Sportsman Series and ESS Sprint Cars on Friday and the DIRTcar 358-Modified Series on Saturday along with point openers for Sportsman and Hobby Stocks.
The Brewerton Speedway “D-Shaped Dirt Demon’ will race back to life on Friday, May 6 with the season opener for the Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, plus the AmeriCU Credit Union Mod Lites and DIRTcar 4-Cylinders along with Dot Foods DIRTcar Sportsman.
